Something definitely happened, many of his Paragons behaved in this bizarre way which created a sorrow in Bobby that slowly builds up as he couldn't understand what was going on. To the innocent minds, everything seemed normal... Bobby had to stay sharp.
He analysed the damage and wounds based on timing, they were being taken out one by one.
A single-target method. The compassion felt was heartbreaking.
There was no turning back and needed to get to the bottom of all this. Simply disbanding the outfit or removing every player will not help. That's just dusting the problem under the carpet. His enemies will simply go elsewhere and continue to hurt or influence other victims.
The problem is not about having a toxic behaviour or being a bully, which can be solved by simple punishments and reform...
Bobby couldn't just point fingers and say "This is the problem!" because it always backfires, creates arguments or gets seen as totalitarian.
People have accused Bobby of this and smeared a bad profile in the past before deleting an old name. So he needs to avoid that scenario.
After this story ends, Bobby returned to this moment to search for all evidence seen previously. It took days of searching.
Technology helped reveal the truth. Shockingly only the tip of the iceberg but the point is clear. The Paragons have fought a nightmare.
Right now it is obvious to see because it's all in one place, but this has been happening over a year, slid between thousands of daily chat/texts so it goes unnoticed or practised behind backs. Some are performed on other applications, the damage accumulated in silence.
